Incoming Club Presidents,

CONGRATULATIONS and WELCOME!

We want to welcome you to Pacific Northwest Presidents-Elect Training (known as PNWPETS) on February 22-24, 2019. We’ve been club presidents and we know that the job of Club President is truly the most important position in Rotary. That’s where all the action happens.

PNWPETS is one of the most highly regarded training programs for Presidents-elect in the Rotary world. We believe that you will find it inspirational and value added: one of the best training events in which you will ever take part. Recent participants tell us the same thing.

“It was a terrific experience. I came back inspired and with so many
actionable ideas to help my Rotary club be the best it could be.”

“As a person who is not overly outgoing, I found it so easy to fit in and
meet my fellow Presidents-Elect, District Governors, Assistant Governors,
etc. I enjoyed every moment of PETS.”

“Frankly, I didn’t think there was much I could learn. But, that wasn’t the
case. It was an invaluable experience for me. Thanks for proving me
wrong. Thanks for the experience.”

PNWPETS is put together by your District Governors-Elect and a skilled Operating Committee of Past District Governors. You are our customers. Thus, we are committed to the pursuit of excellence in curriculum content, training, speakers and atmosphere. We know you are giving your most precious resource, your time, to participate during this weekend, and that it must be time well spent for you, and for your club. You’ll acquire knowledge and insights that will enhance not only your Rotary endeavors, but also your personal and professional skills.

It has been said that “the answer is always in the room”, and nowhere is that more evident than right here during the PNWPETS weekend. Our highly qualified training leaders will draw out most of those answers during your core training sessions. Plenary speakers will inspire and inform you. You’ll learn even more during fellowship with your fellow Presidents-elect and your District Leadership.

We hope that you will find this website easy to navigate, informative, and helpful to your development as the President of your Rotary Club, and that it will help you prepare for the great weekend you have ahead of you.

Finally, we wish you the very best in the most important year you’ll have as a Rotarian!
