2024 PNW-PETS: February 16-18th, 2024, Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center – at SeaTac, Seattle, Washington

Welcome to those who will be serving in leadership roles in your clubs and districts for the 2024-25 year.  The charge of Pacific Northwest PETs is to help prepare the Presidents-Elect as well as other leaders during our February 16-18th, 2024 leadership sessions. Both the District Governors Elect and the Operations Committee strive to make your experience one that you will always remember.

CONGRATULATIONS! Being selected to lead your Club is an honor and Rotarians are known for getting results. Our collective efforts can change lives for generations — like our work to protect billions of children against polio. Coming together with 650+ of your fellow Rotarian leaders inspires, excites, and makes the weekend a wonderfully fun way to prepare and plan for your year to accomplish those lofty goals.

Leadership is a skill, which means it can be improved like anything else. PNW-PETs is a highly regarded training program in the Rotary World. Our newest addition -District 5400 in Idaho- will gather with the other 9 Districts throughout the Pacific Northwest which make up this organization. From northern California to Alaska, from Idaho to Vancouver Island, club leaders will learn, share, and grow together.

Sessions: The Curriculum Design, Session Leader, and District Training teams are busy developing sessions that allow you to make the best use of your time, tailored to your specific needs.

Speakers: The District Governors-Elect have selected speakers to inspire and make you laugh!

Network with fellow Presidents-Elect, Rotary International and District Leaders and use those  opportunities for fellowship to forge friendships with others in the Pacific Northwest clubs.

Above all – Plan, Prepare and Enjoy your year as the next group of Rotary Leaders! It is truly an honor to be the PNW-PETs Chair for the 2023-24 year.  Please ask questions as they arise – we are here to ensure that your experience is one you won’t forget.

Northwest PETS Seminar Covid Guidelines

Health and Safety In the interest of keeping everyone that comes to Seattle in February safe and healthy, we have the following suggested protocols:

  • We will follow the Washington State Department of Health Guidelines, but we will NOT be asking for proof of vaccinations at PETS.
  • If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask during PETS, please do so.
  • If you feel ill with any strong symptoms of any communicable illness, we ask that you use your good sense in not attending PET’S fo avoid the possibility of infecting others.

We appreciate everyone following these best practices. With your cooperation, we will have a safe and healthy event.

Yours in Rotary,
2023-24 Board of Directors, and PETS Operating Committee
